Communicate with devices out of sight.
Wireless modules for mesh network
Massive wireless network that can connect to the other side of the wall.
By utilizing the wireless mesh network function, centralized control is possible even in large offices and factories with obstacles.
Kaga FEI also offers modules using the mesh network protocol(*) to expand the range of network designs.
* The mesh network is developed by partner company for integration.
Exceeds the limits of the Bluetooth protocol!
Forming a large-scale network.
Mesh network is attracting attention as one of the technologies that expand the potential of wireless. As the wireless communication medium, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. are mainly used. However, with a mesh network using Bluetooth communication, it is difficult to connect more than a few hundred of devices to the same network, and even after the connection, delays are likely to occur, and poor usability may be conspicuous.
Kaga FEI's wireless modules can individually control several thousands of lighting devices by mesh network technology using the original communication protocol.

The "mesh link protocol" relays the data signal. It will be able to transcend the walls and obstacles and control as many as thousands of lights and switches individually.
Why don't you consider the mesh technology for your product again that you once gave up on forming a wireless network?
Easy wireless IoT.
Features of wireless modules for mesh network.

Multi-hop transmission
Each node independently searches for connection partners and relays the data received. Nodes in the network can also operate at low power.
Automatic rerouting function
The shortest route is automatically selected by each module, enabling fast and stable communication. In the event of a connection failure, such as a dead battery on a node on the route, another route is immediately searched again. It minimizes communication loss by automatically building another route without manual reconfiguration.

Channel hopping
The band frequency of wireless module is 2.4 GHz that is commonly used. However, each module has a channel hopping function that allows to communicate on the optimal channels each time, avoiding other radios that interfere with communication.

You can add or remove nodes at will.

Builds and recovers network automatically, no complex configuration required
If you want to add new nodes to expand your entire network or remove nodes, no special configuration is required. Once a node is removed, you can easily change the network structure by automatically finding and repairing another route.
If you want to review the entire network structure, run a network simulation to assume and visualize the system operation.

Simulate system operation on a personal computer before placing an actual devices
You can freely place the nodes on the simulator and simulate the actual system operation. It is possible to predict not only the expected communication route and the operation when nodes are added, but also the battery life of each node. Before installing the actual devices, you can check whether there is any difference from the operation image to minimize the gap during actual operation.
